Sine the orange revolution in 2002, Ukraine has been trying to embrace new democratic ideals and form a stable political situation in the country. Unfortunately, the most needed institutional, democratic, economic and social reforms have been put on hold whilst several governmental crises have succeeded each other. The lack of a democratic culture in the country is one of the many core problems which has led to the current situation.
 

KIC and KDU collaborate with the Christian democratic organization "Democratic Alliance" in a project aimed at improving young Ukrainians knowledge about democracy, the Christian democratic ideology, political leadership and communication. With this project, Democratic Alliance would like to create a new, democratic and value oriented political active youth, serving as a launch pad for future politicians of Ukraine.
